IIT Madras Honours 1,842 NPTEL Stars for Excellence in Lifelong Online Learning

IIT Madras recently honoured 1,842 "NPTEL Stars" from South India for their outstanding achievements in completing multiple online certification programmes through the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). The recognition celebrated learners who demonstrated exceptional commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Many of the completed courses focused on communication skills, leadership, management, artificial intelligence, business, technical education, and emerging technologies. The event reflects India's growing emphasis on continuous upskilling, with online education becoming an essential part of professional growth.
