New Delhi, June 2026:
India's rapidly growing creator economy is now influencing education policy. Following recent government initiatives, plans are underway to establish content creation and digital media labs across thousands of schools and colleges. These labs will support training in content creation, animation, video production, digital storytelling, graphic design, gaming, and visual communication.
Industry analysts estimate that the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sector could require nearly two million skilled professionals by 2030. The new educational infrastructure aims to prepare students for careers in content creation, influencer marketing, digital media production, and creative technology industries.
